There has been growing demand for new energy sources as well as novel materials’ discovery to address global challenges. Many faculties in UH Mechanical Engineering Technology program conduct research related to these fields in particular metal 3D printing, Artificial Intelligence (AI), direct ink writing, hydrogen-based fuel cell technologies, solar as a sustainable source of energy, lithium-ion batteries, and multiphase flow mixing with applications in carbon capture area.
