Manufacturing industry is rapidly being transformed through utilization of automation, optimization through Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Machine Learning (ML), as well as new technologies such as additive manufacturing (3D printing) instead of traditional subtractive-based techniques. Faculties at UH Mechanical Engineering Technology program are conducting novel research on these areas to enhance manufacturing efficiency, increase product quality, and save overall cost and footprint of such processes.
